About the game
Know that quick game you grab from the shelf between other sessions, or just to entertain the kids without any fuss? Well, Diamonsters is exactly that kind of fun! The concept is super straightforward: everyone starts with an identical hand of cards, filled with colorful, cartoonish monsters, each with a value from 1 to 5. The goal? Be the fastest to build a set of cards to win the round.

The gameplay is very fast-paced! Each round, a card is revealed in the center of the table, and players must decide which card from their hand to play to win the showdown. But watch out, it's not just about playing the highest number! Some monsters are more valuable than others, and more interestingly, some monsters can 'eat' the diamonds from other players' cards, shaking up everyone's plans.

If two players play cards of equal value, they cancel each other out, creating a sense of tension and laughter. The winner of the round takes their winning card plus the face-up card into their personal collection. To claim final victory, you only need one thing: either collect three cards of the same value, or accumulate a total of five diamonds. It's a game of keen observation, where you need to watch what others are doing and decide whether to play your strong card now or save it for a better opportunity. It's simple, frenetic, and perfect for those who want a light, fun experience without wasting time on massive rulebooks!
