About the game
What you do in a play session
Don the robe of an apprentice in the greatest science of all—alchemy—and try your hand at mixing mandrake roots, dragon bones, and mermaid scales into potions of strength, invisibility, luck, and whatever else your customers desire. Bubbling cauldrons, explosive potions, trolls and gnomes, a grumpy old alchemist, a playful narrator, and an ever-happy goat await you! Dice Arcana is a solo puzzle-solving narrative adventure packed with fantasy. Each turn, you roll dice representing alchemical ingredients and incorporate them into your potion, solving the puzzle of its formula requirements. Each ingredient has special properties that affect other dice and the potion’s volatility, putting logic and deduction at the heart of the game. Every chapter in the storybook advances the narrative and introduces new mechanics as the master alchemist entrusts you with more complex ingredients. Ready to become a legend?
