About the game
DIG is that pocket‑sized microgame that makes people laugh with the idea of dogs hunting bones in a card yard. Each player takes on the role of a brave dog that runs across the "Yard", digs up bones, and tries to return each one to the matching bowl with the highest efficiency possible. The goal is simple: at the end, whoever brings the most points wins.

How does it work? Each turn you can perform up to three actions: move, dig, or drop. Movement is limited by action points and by how many bones you carry – the more bones, the fewer steps. Digging reveals a bone that goes into your hand, but you can hold only up to three at a time. Dropping requires your dog to be on the position of the matching bowl; then the bone is exposed for all to see and you earn points.

Scoring has a twist: the value of each bone depends on the distance between the bowl and the dog house. The closer, the higher the value, ranging from 5 to 1. When you dig, the card that was at the back of the Yard is pulled to the bone’s spot, and the furthest bowl swaps positions, creating a "leapfrog" effect that can change strategy on the fly.

The game ends when the bowls become the last group of cards in the Yard. Bones still in players’ hands are discarded. It’s a 10‑minute, 2‑to‑4 player game with a lot of attention to positioning and timing. If you like microgames with strategy, deduction, and a touch of luck, DIG will surprise you with its fast pace and the possibility to turn the game with a single move.
