About the game

What you do in a play session

Panda Panda, also marketed as Cat Poker, is a fast‑paced card game that’s all about meows and clever swaps. Played with a deck of cards labeled A through G in varying quantities, the game accommodates 2‑4 players and wraps up in roughly 15 minutes. The win condition is straightforward: finish your turn with a complete set in hand and shout "Meow!" to claim victory.

If you don’t have a set yet, you have three actions: draw a card from the draw pile, take the top card from an opponent’s discard pile, or discard a card from your own hand. The twist lies in the "A" card – discarding it forces every player to pass one card from their hand to the player on their left, creating chaotic exchanges and unexpected opportunities to sabotage or help. This push‑your‑luck element makes you weigh the risk of shaking up the table against protecting your own collection.

Hand management is key – you must decide which cards to keep to complete your set and which to sacrifice to disrupt rivals. Each round ends when someone declares their "Meow!", but the game can be played over multiple rounds with a score‑and‑reset system, rewarding the player who racks up the most wins.

Featuring cute panda and cat artwork, lightweight components, and rules that fit in the palm of your hand, Panda Panda shines for fans of set‑collection, quick‑race, and risk‑taking games. Its whimsical theme and rapid play make it perfect for a casual evening, a party, or as a warm‑up before heavier board games. If you love card games with a dash of cuteness and plenty of interaction, get ready to meow your way to the top of the feline throne!
