About the game

What you do in a play session

Dixit: Odyssey is an expansion that adds 84 new cards illustrated by Pierô and colored by Marie Cardouat, the same artist behind the classic Dixit editions. The cards work with any version of the base game, giving you a fresh batch of surreal images to spark your storytelling. There are no extra components – just the cards – so you simply shuffle them into the original deck and you’re ready for more clue possibilities. The core mechanic stays unchanged: one storyteller picks a card, offers a phrase or keyword, and the other players select the card they think best matches the clue. Then everyone votes on which card they believe belongs to the storyteller. Scoring rewards the storyteller if few guess correctly, while the guessers score if many get it right. With a weight of 1.3/5, the expansion keeps the light, accessible feel that makes Dixit a party staple, but adds visual variety that can refresh even seasoned groups. Perfect for 3‑6 players and 30‑minute sessions, it’s ideal for anyone who loves crafting stories, admiring fantastic art, and enjoying casual deduction. If you already own the base game, you only need the cards – no new rules or components – and they blend seamlessly. In short, more art, more fun, same charming mechanics.
