Get ready to dive into a universe of imagination with Dixit, the game that transforms art into an adventure of guessing and creativity! In each round, one player becomes the "Storyteller." They choose one of the six beautifully illustrated cards in their hand and, inspired by the image, create a clue. This clue can be a word, a phrase, a sound, a mime, or even a snippet of a song – the sky's the limit for your creativity! The chosen card is then placed face down on the table. The other players, with their own hands of cards, must select the image that, in their opinion, best matches the clue given by the Storyteller. They also place their cards face down, which are then shuffled together with the Storyteller's original card. When all cards are revealed, the fun begins! Each player (except the Storyteller) secretly votes for the card they believe belongs to the Storyteller. Scoring is the heart of the game and has a brilliant twist: the Storyteller needs to be subtle. If everyone guesses their card or if no one guesses it, they score 0 points, and the other players each score 2 points. The ideal scenario is for some to guess correctly and some to guess incorrectly! In this perfect scenario, the Storyteller and whoever found the correct answer score 3 points. Additionally, non-storyteller players score 1 point for every vote their own card received. The game continues until the deck is empty or a player reaches 30 points.
