About the game
If you're already a die-hard Dixit fan, get your creative (and maybe slightly crazy) side ready, because Dixit: Origins is here to give your deck a serious upgrade! This expansion isn't just 'more of the same'; it brings 84 brand-new cards with a unique visual vibe, signed by artist Clément Lefevre. Get ready to encounter characters with giant eyes and landscapes that defy logic, creating a surrealist atmosphere that is quintessential to the franchise, but with a freshness you won't expect.

The gameplay follows that classic loop we all love, but infused with the flavor of these new illustrations. In each round, one player takes on the role of the Storyteller. They pick a card from their hand and issue a challenge: it could be a phrase, a snippet of a song, or even a strange sound that hints at the image. The goal? Be enigmatic enough so that not everyone guesses correctly, but not so obvious that no one can identify the card. The other players join in by choosing cards from their own hands to try and 'blend in' with the Storyteller. Then, the voting happens, and the (good) chaos begins. If you guess the right card or if your card is chosen by someone, you score points. The first to reach 30 points wins!

The best part is the versatility: you can use these cards to add variety to your current base game or, if you're feeling bold, you can play using only this deck (just don't forget to grab the scoring components and voting tokens from another Dixit set, okay?). It's the kind of expansion that breathes new life into your game nights, bringing fresh interpretations and ensuring that those familiar sessions take on entirely new and unexpected shapes. It's pure art in game form!
