Get ready for a fantastic journey into the world of imagination with Dixit: Odyssey! This game is a standalone version of the acclaimed Dixit, which won Germany's Spiel des Jahres award in 2010, and can also be used as an expansion. The dynamic is simple yet brilliant: each round, one player takes on the role of the storyteller. They secretly choose a card from their hand and give a clue about it – it can be a word, a sentence, a song, whatever creativity allows, but be careful not to be too obvious! The other players then select a card from their own hands that, in their opinion, best fits the given clue. All chosen cards are shuffled and revealed. Now comes the fun part: all players, except the storyteller, secretly vote on which card they believe belongs to the storyteller. Scoring is cleverly distributed: if everyone or no one guesses the storyteller's card, the storyteller scores no points, but everyone else gets two points. Otherwise, the storyteller and the correct guesser(s) each receive three points. Additionally, each player earns one point for each vote their own card receives. At the end of the round, hands are refilled, and the next player becomes the storyteller. The game continues until the deck runs out, and the player with the most points wins! This edition of Dixit: Odyssey comes packed with 84 brand new cards, illustrated by Pierô and colored by the talented Marie Cardouat, the same artist as the original games. The standalone version also includes a folding game board, 6 new rabbit scoring tokens (12 total), and a spacious box to hold all Dixit cards released to date. And the best part: it supports up to twelve players, with variant rules for team play and new ways to interact with the cards. Perfect for gathering friends and unleashing your imagination!
