About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready to dive into a cyclical nightmare with Echoes of Tomorrow, a Print & Play card game that challenges you to face terrifying creatures in solo or two-player matches. Each round, you'll encounter six randomly chosen enemies, and the difficulty increases as victory approaches for them – but, ironically, you grow stronger the closer you are to defeat! The key to survival is refining your deck and enhancing your 'memory' to forget the past, confront the future, and accept the present in this endless cycle. The cards are super versatile, allowing you to use them in various strategic ways. By defeating a creature, you recruit it to help you in future nights of terror, strengthening your deck. But if defeat catches up to you, don't worry: you add a card to your 'memory', gaining a permanent boost for the next night, even if it brings you closer to total annihilation. It's a tense and addictive balance of risk and reward. This compact game, with just 18 double-sided cards and an optional playmat, was the big winner of the first PnP Bundle contest, organized by Chris Backe and Florian Fiedler, with incredible art by Vittoria Pompolani. If you enjoy a strategic challenge with a touch of horror and love the idea of assembling your own game, Echoes of Tomorrow is a sure bet!
