The Mammoth Module is one of those extras that arrives individually packaged, bringing a new piece and some rules that interestingly change the game. The idea is simple: you gain the ability to move your camps, right? Well, now you can trade two of those movements for a strategic shift of your new mammoth friend across the terrain board. And pay attention: it can go to any empty juncture, including those touching the central map tile – something villages don't allow. But the real kicker comes during the Eclipse phase. That's when the mammoth becomes a serious competitor! It vies for influence on every hex it touches, and its strength equals the current round number. If you have less influence than it on a hex, too bad, you lose the benefit. However, if you manage to have more influence than the mammoth (and other players, of course), the reward is doubled! Think of it as a bonus for dominating the area. This module is fully compatible with the River & Rafts expansion and the Glacier tokens, so you can mix everything up and create an even more epic and challenging winter.
