Escape: The Curse of the Temple – Queenie 5: Quest Chambers is the expansion that takes the classic escape game to a new level of adrenaline and chaos. With three new mission chambers – the Chaotic Chamber, the Constellation Chamber, and the Snake Pit – and three brand‑new curses – Mind Control, Pitfall, and Magical Bond – each playthrough becomes more unpredictable and demanding. The Chaotic Chamber forces all adventurers to gather in a single space, while the Constellation Chamber requires each player to roll two keys in their respective chamber; the presence of a sixth player does not change the dynamic but adds tension. The Snake Pit adds the element of “snakes” that players must collect: each player who enters receives a snake token that must be defeated with torches before facing the mother snake in its chamber with five torches. The curses bring control and cooperation mechanics: Mind Control prevents a player from moving their own figure, Pitfall sends the adventurer back to the starting point, and Magical Bond forces each player to touch hands with another at all times. The game remains in real‑time, demanding quick decisions while the modular board adapts to each play. The combination of dice rolling, tile placement, and intense cooperation makes this add‑on a challenge for those who already know the core Escape and want to test their skills in more complex scenarios. If you love escape games with plenty of action, surprise, and teamwork, this expansion will leave you breathless – but be ready for the time pressure and curses that leave no room for error.
