About the game
What you do in a play session
Secrets of the Lost Tomb is a cooperative adventure that mixes Indiana Jones with Cthulhu Mythos. You're brave (or crazy enough) explorers entering a cursed tomb full of ancient horrors. The game builds a different modular board each time - the tomb walls rearrange themselves like a living nightmare. Each player controls a unique adventurer, with special abilities ranging from archaeologist to occultist. The challenge? Survive the tomb's dangers while trying to stop primordial forces from destroying the world. There's dice rolling, action point management, monsters appearing out of nowhere, and powerful artifacts that can turn the tide. The atmosphere is tense, with tomb cards creating unexpected events that test your teamwork. Get ready to yell 'RUN!' when the final boss appears. You can play solo or with up to 6 people, but even in a group, the tomb doesn't go easy - it scales with player count. Each scenario has a different theme (Egypt, Greece, Maya) and a unique boss, ensuring replayability. Just don't expect a walk in the park: survival rates are low, but the glory of victory makes the risk worthwhile.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers before you buy
Can it be played solo?
Yes! The game has specific rules for one player controlling up to 4 characters alone. It's challenging but works well.
What's the recommended age?
The game suggests 14+, mainly due to horror themes and complexity. Teens who've played other co-op games should handle it fine.
Does it need a game master?
Nope! The game uses a card system to control enemies and events, so everyone plays together against the tomb.
How long does a game take?
Between 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on player count and how often the tomb corners you. More complex scenarios may take longer.
Is it too luck-dependent?
Dice and cards bring randomness, but strategic decisions matter more. Just prepare to curse the dice when everything goes wrong.
Are expansions necessary?
The base game has enough content for many hours, but expansions add new scenarios and characters if you get hooked.
