About the game
In Sub Terra, get ready for a cooperative adventure for 1 to 6 players, where tension and fear are your constant companions! You and your friends take on the role of amateur cavers, trapped in an unexplored labyrinth of subterranean tunnels. The goal? Escape before your torches flicker out, or worse, before the creatures from the depths find you. Each turn is a race against time and the dangers of the cave. Players explore, revealing new tunnel tiles that can bring either a path to freedom or a dead end, floods, cave-ins, gas leaks, or other perils. Each caver possesses unique abilities, such as an Engineer who can blast new routes with dynamite or a Scout who makes exploration easier, adding an important strategic layer. At the end of each round, a hazard card is revealed, determining what new threat awaits, causing damage or blocking your path. The hazard deck is limited, and when it runs out, darkness takes over, drastically diminishing your chances of survival. Will you manage to escape the depths or become another dark legend of the cave?
