About the game
Bundle up, because the chill has arrived in Everdell! Silverfrost is a completely standalone adventure that takes us beyond the Spirecrest mountains into a freezing and challenging new land. Here, your goal isn't just to build a beautiful city, but to make sure your citizens don't freeze in the process! You'll step into the shoes of a leader for a community of critters who must manage resources, clear snow blocking their paths, and keep the fires burning to ensure prosperity.

The gameplay is a dream for those who love strategy and engine-building combos. On each turn, you have three main choices: deploy your workers to strategic locations (on the board, on cards, or even up the mountains), play cards to expand your city, or prepare for the changing seasons. But beware: the weather is a formidable opponent! Snow can pile up and block your plans, forcing you to spend fire resources to clear the way. If you play your cards right, you can use your unique Ranger worker to navigate more effectively or secure extra warmth.

To build your city, you'll play cards to create a powerful tableau, taking advantage of new abilities that promise explosive combos. The game flows through the seasons, and once all workers are deployed, it's time to prepare for the next cycle, which introduces new environmental challenges. The game ends when spring arrives and actions are exhausted. In the end, the player with the most prosperous and high-scoring city will be the true winner of this harsh winter. It's a game of clever management, where the weather dictates the pace and every decision about when to burn wood or when to expand your city could be the difference between success and freezing!
