Thought the continent of Alula had given up all its secrets? Think again! 'Faraway: People From Below' arrives to prove that there's always more to discover. This expansion introduces new faces to your journey: the Guides and the Three-Eyed Ones. These ancient peoples aren't just visiting; they're bringing entirely new ways for you to acquire fame and climb the prestige ladder.
What's new on the table? The biggest addition is a brand new gray biome, introduced via 5 Region cards. We also get the 'Mystical Havens', featuring that central band of icons we've seen in some base game cards, but now with a stronger presence, including 4 new Sanctuary cards. If you're a fan of building synergies, you'll love the new Region card that grants 4 VP for every Mystical Haven card in your path — though it's not a free ride: it requires two of each resource icon (6 total) as a prerequisite.
And for those who always complain that 'there's no room for everyone at the table,' this expansion delivers. Faraway can now accommodate up to 7 players! It's the perfect excuse to turn your game night into an epic gathering with the whole crew, all while keeping the gameplay snappy and the tension high as everyone vies for the top score. If you already enjoy the 'plan now, score later' loop of the base game, this content is the perfect seasoning to make your sessions more varied and challenging.
