About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready to set sail with Fleet: The Dice Game, a dice-based adventure that will hook you! If you enjoyed the original Fleet card game, you'll love this dice version, which brings the same tension and meaningful decisions but with a more robust feel, worthy of a more strategic roll-and-write. Here, you're back in the stunning Ridback Bay to reap its rewards! The game unfolds over 10 rounds, divided into two phases: Boat and Town. In the Boat phase, the active player rolls extra dice, and everyone chooses one to use, marking the corresponding boat type on their sheet. This unlocks special powers and allows you to launch boats to catch fish. The remaining die is used by everyone. In the Town phase, the dynamic repeats with different dice. You can invest in buildings at the Wharf for bonuses, equip awesome ships in the harbor to score more points and catch more fish, or head to the market to gain income and bonus actions. The leftover die is also for everyone. Fishing occurs in the even rounds, and whoever has the most points at the end wins! And for solo players, there's a well-integrated solo mode where you face off against Captain Ruth in a fierce competition for the bay's treasures. It's a game that requires a bit of attention and planning, but the reward is a super satisfying experience full of choices.
