About the game

What you do in a play session

In Flick of Faith, the gods of the pantheon are bored and decide to make a bet to see who can gather the most believers in the mysterious Archipelago of the Navel of the World. Each player takes on the role of a deity with unique powers and the mission to spread their influence across various islands. The core mechanic is 'flicking': you'll launch your prophets (wooden discs) with your finger, aiming to conquer territories and knock opponents' prophets off the map.

The game unfolds over four rounds, each divided into three phases. In the Council Phase, players vote to decide which temporary special rule card will be applied, adding a touch of unpredictability to each round. In the Mission Phase, the main action takes place: each player, in turn, flicks a prophet onto the board. This is where dexterity comes into play, as a good flick can secure an island or dislodge rivals. The gods' special powers can also be used to turn the tide. The phase ends when all prophets have been sent to the archipelago.

Finally, in the Conversion Phase, gods score points based on the islands where they have prophets or temples. Dominating an entire island yields bonus points, and the Navel of the World, the central island, offers generous bonuses for those who manage to control it, but it's quite a challenge! If a prophet reaches it, they build a temple. At the end of the round, all prophets return, and a new generation is prepared for the next. After four rounds, whoever has the most victory points is the supreme god! Flick of Faith is fast-paced, fun, and requires a good amount of aim and strategy.
