About the game

What you do in a play session

In Flutter, you'll dive headfirst into the beauty of nature, creating a vibrant, flower-filled meadow to attract the ecosystem's most vital pollinators. Get ready to see hummingbirds, dragonflies, moths, butterflies, ladybugs, and, of course, bees—the true queens of pollination—flying everywhere! This is a strategic tile-laying game for 2 to 5 players, ages 8 and up, where each participant takes turns placing uniquely shaped tiles. The main goal is to match flower petals at the corners of the tiles, which earns you petal tokens. But it doesn't stop there! As the game progresses, you'll cleverly spend those petal tokens. When you manage to 'enclose' an already placed tile, you spend your tokens to ensure that the tile's pollinator has all the flowers it needs, earning you pollen. It's all about nurturing the ecosystem, spreading pollen throughout the meadow, and strategically using your bee token to give you that extra boost. Keep an eye on the supply rondel, because the game ends quickly once a single stack of tiles runs out. Whoever has the most pollen at the end will claim victory and the admiration of all the meadow's critters!
