About the game
Hey gamers! Ready for a quick and strategic showdown? For the Win is an abstract game that pits two players against each other in a battle of wits. Each player commands a team of 10 tiles, representing five iconic character types: mischievous Monkeys, hungry Zombies, daring Pirates, mysterious Aliens, and stealthy Ninjas. The objective is straightforward, but execution is the challenge: connect five or more of your tiles in any direction (including diagonals!), as long as they are all face-up and include at least one of each character type. If you achieve this, the game ends immediately!

The twist lies in each character's unique abilities. The Alien can pull tiles with its tractor beam, the Monkey causes chaos by flipping adjacent tiles, the Ninja teleports to empty spaces, the Pirate blasts tiles away, and the Zombie can infect and replace tiles or deactivate opponents'.

Each game is divided into action rounds. You have 5 action points to spend, and in each round, you can use 1 or 2 action points. The clever part is that once one player finishes their actions, the other can use their remaining actions all at once. This means wisely managing your action points is crucial for creating devastating combos and surprising your opponent. It's a fast-paced game, perfect for those who enjoy a bit of thinking without the lengthy playtime. With simple rules and games lasting just 10 minutes, For the Win is ideal for warming up your brain or for a quick match between friends.
