About the game
What you do in a play session
Embark on an epic adventure in Fortune Fame & Glory, a solo card and dice game in the 'print and play' style that transports you to a dark and dangerous fantasy world. Goblins lurk in the shadows, giants terrorize villages, and whispers of hidden treasures and magical artifacts echo through the night. It's time to awaken the hero within you!
To begin, prepare the deck by removing the end-game cards and shuffling the rest. Lay the cards face down in ten columns. Set your initial attributes – health, attack, gold, food, and fate – on your character sheet. The game flows by flipping the leftmost card and following its instructions. Each card can present a different challenge: monster combat, equipment upgrades, penalties, or even unexpected twists.
After traversing all the cards from right to left, the challenge restarts. Shuffle everything and begin again, from left to right. This journey repeats for three full rounds. At the end of each three-round cycle, a fearsome final boss will emerge, demanding all your courage and strategy to be defeated. Defeating one of these bosses grants you coveted fortune, fame, or glory. The ultimate goal is to survive between 3 to 9 rounds, accumulating as many rewards as possible and becoming a legend. Fortune Fame & Glory is perfect for those seeking a quick solo experience, with elements of dice rolling and risk-taking, ideal for playing anywhere thanks to its print & play format.
