Ghost Blitz Junior is the kid‑friendly spin on the classic Geistesblitz, designed for children as young as four who love to dash and grab things. In the middle of the table sit four brightly coloured minis – a piglet, a frog, a ghost and a chick – and each card displays three of them in different hues. The challenge is straightforward: the player who sees a figure shown in its original colour must snatch that piece before anyone else. For instance, if the card shows a blue piglet, you must grab the blue piglet on the table; if a purple ghost appears, the purple ghost is the target.

For the older crowd (six‑plus), the ghost occasionally shows up in a dark nightgown. In that case the rule flips to "hands off!" – no one may touch any piece, creating a funny pause and a bit of suspense. Each round lasts only a few seconds, so a full game wraps up in about 15 minutes, making it perfect for a quick break or a family game night filler. The box contains 30 cards, the four minis and a handy bag, all compact enough to travel.

The core mechanic is pattern recognition blended with real‑time action: players must quickly read the card, match colours, and react faster than their opponents.
