In Glasgow, you and one other player will take turns shaping the Scottish city by constructing buildings ranging from factories and train stations to score-heavy monuments. The twist? Turn order is a bit wild: whoever is furthest behind on the action rondel goes next! You'll move around this rondel to collect resources like brick, steel, and money, but watch out for your inventory limits. To build, you need the right resources and a building plan, which appear at certain spots on the rondel. Pay the resources, place your tile on the board, and watch the city grow! The first building can go anywhere, but subsequent ones must be adjacent to something already built, forming a grid that you both shape together. Each building has an effect: factories yield more with nearby constructions, train stations might score points depending on what else appears, and monuments are purely for racking up points. The game ends as soon as the twentieth building is constructed, and then we see who contributed more to transforming Glasgow into the metropolis it is today. It's a quick, straightforward game with a pleasant tension to see who will come out on top.
