About the game
Picture the mayor, Tenpenny, ready to turn the modest town of Fairview into one of the world’s biggest theme parks. In just five months—each month representing a turn—you, as the manager of a team of bankers, realtors, contractors, and arborists, must place workers on board spaces to buy upgrades, clear land, install attractions, and grow your cash. The goal is simple: attract the most visitors and rack up Visitor Points (VP). Worker placement happens on a carousel of prices that shifts each round, so deciding where to put your worker can cost more or less depending on your opponents’ moves. After purchasing, you place the attractions—polyomino tiles of various shapes—on your personal board. These tiles can’t touch another tile’s edge, but if you fit them into specific zones, you can earn extra bonuses. There’s also an emotion track that, if climbed, can grant an extra worker, money, or the first‑player marker next round. Secret objectives and card bonuses can also swing the game. At the end of the five months, you tally all your VP—from attractions, emotions, objectives, and bonuses—and the player with the most points wins. It’s perfect for those who love planning, resource optimization, and strategic tile placement. Light on playtime but heavy on tactical decisions, Tenpenny Parks will have you planning your next move in every turn!
