About the game
Hey everyone! Ready for a space journey that goes way beyond known orbit? In Godspeed, the Space Race we know is just the tip of the iceberg. The truth is, humanity is colonizing distant planets, and you take on the role of one of five major powers (USA, Soviet Union, Japan, Europe, or India) in this interplanetary competition. The game unfolds over 10 rounds, divided into four phases that will make you think about every move.

We kick off with the High Council Phase, where tense negotiation dictates how nations will respond to unexpected events on Earth or the exoplanet. Ignored the call? Brace yourself for the consequences! Next up is the Supply Depot Phase, a fierce auction where you'll bid to secure valuable cards and the turn order. The highest bidder might even get a second delivery!

The Action Phase is where the worker placement magic happens. Your specialized scientists (yes, each has their own role!) head to action spaces to secure resources and prestige. But be careful, because the Resolution Phase is when everything resets, your workers return, and you reap the rewards (or losses) of the round.

The goal? Accumulate the most prestige! This comes in various forms: climbing the Defense, Exploration, Commerce, and Infrastructure tracks, claiming Civilization Milestones, completing scoring cards, building alien XenoRelics, and fulfilling secret objectives. Oh, and there are bonus points for leftover resources. Godspeed is a medium-weight game, with an addictive mix of auction, worker placement, and negotiation, perfect for those who enjoy solid strategy with a sci-fi twist and the tension of the Cold War in space. Get ready to colonize the unknown!
