About the game
What you do in a play session
Grimoire is a card game where you take on the role of a wizard competing to collect the best spells and treasures. Each round begins with revealing several cards on the board, which can be victory points or characters with special abilities. Players secretly choose which spell to use by marking the corresponding page in their spellbook. When everyone reveals their choices, spells are activated in order of strength, potentially changing the order of card selection. The game ends when a player collects ten character or treasure cards, and the winner is the one with the most points. Different versions of the game have variations in end conditions, player count, and additional components and mechanics.
