About the game

What you do in a play session

Freshly crowned as the Dwarven King, all you want is a palace worthy of your title. Too bad your subjects have other priorities – mainly brawling and drinking ale. In Hall of the Dwarven King, a quick and fun solo game, you'll need plenty of persuasion (and some spare coins) to get these stubborn dwarves to work. Each of the seven dice represents a follower with a mind of their own: some days they'll mine or build, but most times they'd rather party. Watch out for authoritarian commands – these dwarves have terrible hangover moods! The strategy here is balancing incentives (taverns, bribes) and knowing when to let off steam. All you need is the game's PDF, seven standard dice, and a pencil to track your royal (mis)adventures. Can you build your palace before the kingdom descends into complete chaos?
