About the game
What you do in a play session
The night in Hemloch is drawing to a close, and the impending sunrise promises to expose all your schemes! In Hemloch, you and one other player have but a few moonlit nights to solidify your power over the city's shadowy districts. Each controls their own deck of minions, divided into five factions: Courtesans, Darkened, Ghouls, Alchemists, and Geared. Each round, you'll position these minions in four city locations, each with its own unique properties. Minions not only grant unique abilities, but combining them in specific locations can unlock even greater powers. The goal is to accumulate influence points in the districts and collect Potions and Trinkets – which can be used for extra abilities but cost precious points. It's a pure two-player strategy game where hand management and area control are crucial to emerge victorious before dawn heralds a new era. Prepare for a tactical duel where every card played and every contested district determines Hemloch's fate. It's a quick game, but one that demands attention to detail and anticipation of your opponent's moves.
