Game Objective

Gameplay Flow
The game progresses with players taking turns to perform the following actions:
- The DJ plays a song: A player picks a music card and scans the QR code on it to automatically play the song on Spotify.
- Position the music card: The player must guess when the song was released, positioning the music card in the correct place on their music timeline.
- Flip the music card: After positioning the card, it is flipped to reveal the release year.
Actions and How to Play
The main actions during the game are:
- Play a song: A player, acting as the DJ, picks a music card and uses a mobile phone with an internet connection (and the free Hitster app and Spotify for a better experience) to play the song by scanning the card's QR code.
- Position the music card: After the song is played, the active player must guess the song's release year. They do this by positioning the music card on their music timeline, trying to place it in the correct chronological order relative to the cards already collected.
- Keep the music card: If the player correctly positions the music card on their music timeline (i.e., if the song was released in the correct year relative to the other cards), they keep the card. This contributes to building their timeline and to the goal of collecting 10 hits.
The game includes 308 music hit cards and 37 tokens to increase the chances of winning, but the manual does not detail the use of the tokens.
End of Game and Scoring
