About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready for some good laughs (or maybe a little cry) with Shit Happens: Mind meghalunk!, the Hungarian edition of the hilarious black humor card game designed by Andy Breckman. The idea is simple, but the fun is guaranteed: each card depicts a terrible situation, one of those where you think 'ugh, what bad luck!'. And the coolest part is that each of these misfortunes has a 'shitometer' value, ranging from 0.1 (like 'your fly is open') to 100 (such as 'hit by a train').
These values aren't random, no way! They were determined by experts who assessed the level of anxiety, emotional trauma, and long-term psychological damage each situation would cause. At the start of the game, each player receives three cards and must arrange them in ascending shitometer order, forming their 'misery row'.
In each round, a new situation card is read aloud, but its shitometer value is kept secret. Your mission is to guess where this new misfortune fits into your row. You don't need to guess the exact number, just the position! If you guess correctly, the card is yours and joins your row. The first player to accumulate ten cards in their misery row wins the game. The box comes with 200 situation cards and a Hungarian rulebook, but don't worry, the gameplay is super intuitive. And the best part: you can mix this edition with other Shit Happens versions to further expand your collection of 'unfortunate events'!
