Hotshots

Hey everyone! Ready to fight some fires? In Hotshots, you and 1 to 3 friends take on the roles of super-equipped firefighters, each with their special abilities, in a race against time and the flames. The goal? Save the forest! To do this, you'll be rolling dice on burning terrain tiles, trying to match the symbols that appear on them. The more symbols you roll, the better! But be careful, because luck has its limits: if you don't get at least three symbols, the fire spreads, and things get complicated.

You can create firebreaks to protect areas from the wind, or risk it all to reduce the flames and maybe even earn bonuses. And don't forget the vehicles! Maneuvering the air tanker, helicopter, or brush rig can be crucial to saving the trees.

Each turn, a fire card can bring wind gusts, increase the intensity of the flames, or start new fires. If a terrain tile burns too much, it's lost, and this can affect the entire game, especially if it's a tile linked to a character's abilities or that helps in the fight. If eight tiles scorch, or worse, the fire camp scorches, it's game over: the forest is lost, and everyone loses together. But if you manage to extinguish the fire, the victory belongs to the whole team!

Hotshots is pure cooperative tension with a 'push your luck' element that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The modular board and fire cards ensure that each game is different, and the acrylic flame tokens add a cool visual to the table. It's a dynamic game where communication and quick decisions are key to the forest's survival!
