About the game
What you do in a play session
Becoming a king is tough, but staying one is even tougher, right? In Isle of Skye: Journeyman, the first major expansion for the base game, you step into the shoes of a Scottish chieftain who needs more than just warriors and gold to thrive. Now, you'll manage your strength, prosperity, and popularity, each with its own demands and requirements. This expansion introduces new individual player boards to track your progress, adding an extra strategic layer to tile selling and placement.
But watch out: simply placing the right tiles isn't enough! To truly advance and reap the rewards of your efforts, you'll need to send your new pawn, the 'journeyman,' across the kingdom to activate the regions you've built. It's a race to prove you're the most influential and wise leader. On top of that, four new scoring tiles enter the fray, bringing fresh objectives and keeping the experience engaging, even for seasoned Skye map masters. Get ready for an even bigger and more rewarding challenge!
