About the game
What you do in a play session
If you've already dived into the divine wars of Kemet and own the Ta-Seti expansion, this small content pack is the extra 'spice' that makes the struggle even more strategic. Originally released as a promotional item during Essen Spiel 2015, this set brings punctual but powerful additions for those looking to refine their army's build and dominate ancient Egypt more efficiently.
The highlight here is the new black power tile called 'Piety'. It's perfect for players who enjoy control, rewarding you with one permanent Victory Point if you manage to control at least two temples at the start of the night phase. It's the kind of bonus that punishes those who neglect faith and rewards those who know how to position their troops in sacred locations.
Additionally, the pack expands the possibilities of the Path to Ta-Seti with three new skills that shift the dynamics of combat and survival. There's 'Immunity', a real lifesaver that allows you to ignore any damage taken outside of combat; 'Neith Shields', which provide that essential +1 protection to hold the front line during battles; and 'Offering', which turns carnage into faith by granting one prayer point for every enemy unit you annihilate in battle.
It is important to remember that this is not a standalone game. For these pieces to make sense and be usable, you absolutely need the Kemet base game and the Ta-Seti expansion. Without them, you'll just have pretty pieces with nowhere to fit on the board. If you already have the setup, these new options add layers of customization that can flip the script in competitive matches.
