About the game
Get ready for a cyber invasion in Kernel Panic: Exfiltrate Edition, an electrifying card game for 2 to 8 hackers where the goal is to be the first to steal 15 points of valuable data from a shared network! Each turn is a gamble: you draw cards from the Network deck, hoping to find data – credentials, personal information, financial records – all worth points. But beware! If you draw an Alarm card (like Firewall Triggered or IDS Alert) before 'banking' your data, you bust and lose everything you collected that turn. It's that classic 'push your luck' decision: do you secure what you already have and end your turn, or do you try your luck and draw another card? Additionally, each player holds a hand of Tool cards, which are super useful hacker abilities like VPN, Rootkit, and Ransomware. These allow you to bend the odds, protect your already 'banked' data, and, of course, sabotage or steal from your opponents. The tension is constant, the interaction is direct, and there's no player elimination, so everyone stays in the race until the end! With quick games lasting 15 to 30 minutes and rules that are learned in a flash, Kernel Panic brings a real-world cybersecurity theme to your table in a fun and accessible way. Who will be the master of exfiltration?
