Kingdom Builder: Crossroads

Hey there, board game enthusiasts! Ready to give your Kingdom Builder experience a boost? Kingdom Builder: Crossroads arrives with four new maps packed with fresh landscapes and special locations that will make you rethink your building strategy. The core idea remains the same: expand your kingdom, but now with an extra kick! The Task Cards will challenge you to fulfill specific objectives to earn more gold at the end. Each section of the board features two new location abilities to explore. You'll find Warriors, which help block adjacent building spaces when used with the barracks; Wagons, which can move across the board; Ships, for crossing water spaces with the lighthouse; and City Halls, which occupy a HUGE space and count as seven settlements for scoring and placement! Additionally, there are 6 new Task Cards that provide extra end-game scoring opportunities. Select the usual 3 Kingdom cards, then randomly draw one Task Card for each Crossroads game section in play. Completing these missions, like having a settlement on each of the four map edges, can yield extra points. It's the perfect expansion for those who already enjoy Kingdom Builder and crave more variety and strategic challenges.
