About the game
Grab your apron and hold your breath, because peace between the kingdoms of Katt and Hund is hanging by a thread! After decades of war, the only hope to avoid another conflict is a royal wedding that will be talked about for ages. But there's a catch: the success of this union depends entirely on a perfect celebration cake, the famous Kransekage. And that's where you and your fellow cooks come in!

Kransekage is a highly dynamic game that transforms a standard 52-card deck into a true culinary adventure. You aren't just cooks; you are the ones responsible for ensuring the party is an absolute success. The goal is to build the cake layers as perfectly as possible, but the pressure is on. Each turn, chaos erupts in the kitchen: you must roll a die and hope it lands on the specific kitchen grid square you need. If luck is on your side, you can move your piece across the board and claim the card that matches the die to build the cake's structure.

But don't think it's just about following orders! To spice things up, each player receives a secret royal request. These requests might pull you in completely different directions from the rest of the group, creating a fun tension: do you help the group build the ultimate cake, or do you focus on fulfilling that specific royal whim to boost your own score? In the end, your score is based on the number of cake layers completed plus the number of secret requests achieved. It's a fast-paced, fun experience that proves that sometimes, the fate of two kingdoms really does depend on a great recipe and a bit of dexterity!
