About the game
What you do in a play session
In Kuhfstein, you manage an Austrian farm where cows are the stars – and they have demands! Your goal is to create the most charming landscape by strategically placing blooming fields, lakes, and pastures to maximize your herd's happiness (and points). Gameplay revolves around three pillars: 1) Placing tiles to expand your terrain, 2) Moving cows between areas with variable scoring (that lake might be gold today and worthless tomorrow!), and 3) Bringing the ladies back at just the right moment to reap rewards. The game has a delightfully tactical pace – you'll alternate between meticulous planning and quick pressure decisions. And in the end, secret bonuses can turn the tables! Pro tip: never underestimate the power of a contented cow.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers before you buy
Is it good at 2 players?
Works fine but shines with 3-4. In 2-player games, the board feels less contested.
How long does a game take?
The 45-minute estimate is accurate, even with new players. The flow is snappy.
Is there much reading involved?
Barely any! Intuitive symbols and minimal card text. Great for language-independent play.
What's the minimum recommended age?
8+, but younger kids can play with help (and they adore the cows!).
Worth it if I already own many farming games?
Yes! The 'cow recall timing' mechanic gives a unique twist to the genre.
