Step by step
Goal of the Game
The goal of LHAMA: No Drama is to avoid accumulating negative points throughout the rounds. The No Drama card is a promotional addition to the LHAMA base game, which allows players to discard a card at the end of the round if they hold the No Drama card. The winner will be the one who accumulates the fewest negative points at the end of the game.
Setup
To prepare the game, place the No Drama card in the center of the table at the start of each new round. Make sure all players are familiar with the rules of the LHAMA base game, as the No Drama card is an addition to the original game.
Gameplay Flow
The game follows the normal flow of the LHAMA base game, with the addition of the No Drama card. During the round, if a player decides to pass while others are still playing, they must take the No Drama card for themselves, even if it is held by another player, and place it next to their cards.
Actions and How to Play
The main action involving the No Drama card occurs when a player decides to pass the round. In this case, they must take the No Drama card and place it next to their cards. This allows them, at the end of the round, to discard one of their cards before calculating their score.
End of Game and Scoring
When the round ends, if you have the No Drama card, you must discard one of your cards before calculating your score. If the discarded card is the only one in your hand, you must also return one token (white or black). Scoring is calculated according to the LHAMA base game rules, and the winner is the one with the fewest negative points.
Tips for Winning
- Use the No Drama card strategically to discard cards that could increase your negative score.
- Pass the round early to ensure you can grab the No Drama card before the other players.
- Consider the right moment to discard a card, especially if it is the only one in your hand, to avoid losing tokens.
