About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready to dive into the opulence and charm of French Rococo with La Fleur, a strategy game where you take on the role of a garden enthusiast, aiming to build the most magnificent château and host the Grande Soirée! Initially, your castle is, well… a bit empty. How will you attract visitors and build your reputation without bubbling fountains, inviting paths, and, most importantly, stunning flowers? Each round, you'll send your artisans across Paris, using the worker placement mechanic to acquire floral beauties, hire helpers, earn coins, and commission new decorations for your garden. But beware: resources are limited, and the first to arrive gets the crème de la crème! The end of each round is marked by a garden party, where visitors from around the globe come to shower you with prestige and opportunities. Keep an eye on your neighbors, because if their castle is more attractive, some guests might prefer their party! As the fame of your gardens grows, more and more visitors will appear. The game culminates when a player accumulates enough prestige, triggering the final count of objective bonuses and garden features. Whoever has the most prestige will be crowned the host of the Grande Soirée!
