Journey back to the Mesozoic era, a fascinating period where dinosaurs reigned supreme! In "Lands of the Mesozoic," you and up to three friends will build and manage your own prehistoric ecosystems. The game challenges you to balance the food chain, using cards to represent different levels: plants and insects in terrestrial habitats, herbivores that feed on them, and of course, the fearsome carnivores that control populations. Each card played has its cost and function, and keeping everything in harmony is the key to a thriving and lasting ecosystem.
But beware! Nature is unpredictable. Fierce competition between species and constant geological changes can cause mass extinctions, opening up space for new life forms to emerge and evolve. With over 120 cards beautifully illustrated by artist Sergey Krasovskiy, each game promises a unique experience. At the end of three distinct periods (lasting 7, 6, and 5 rounds respectively), players tally points for their played cards, personal objectives, and common goals. The player with the highest score is crowned the master of Mesozoic ecosystems!
