The game takes you through three 'seasons' of the show, covering the first nine TV seasons. Each agent starts with a basic deck, but with each turn, the conspiracy advances. A new card from the Conspiracy Deck is added to the 'Shadows', which could be an enemy, an unexpected event, a crucial informant, or a vital lead. Your goal is to use the cards in your hand to generate attack, recruit new agents for your deck, and activate special abilities. Attack is used to defeat enemies and reveal hidden cards in the Shadows, while recruit points allow you to add more powerful characters to your team at the Bureau. As your deck evolves and gets stronger, the challenges also increase, with tougher adversaries.
