Leningrad '41

Leningrad '41 puts you directly in the shoes of either the commander of Army Group North or the Soviet forces during the 1941 campaign. Using the same game engine as the acclaimed Moscow '41, but with adjustments for the northern theater of operations, this block wargame brings the tension of the Eastern Front to your table. Nazi Germany, with the reluctant support of the Finns seeking to reclaim lost territories, advances towards Leningrad. The German objective is clear: encircle and force the city's surrender, but time is a relentless enemy. The German player must be quick and efficient, as plans change and forces are limited. Every move counts, and logistics can be as deadly as the enemy. The Soviet player, on the other hand, has the mission to hold out as long as possible, defending what they can and sacrificing what is necessary. With scarce resources and constant pressure, the defense of Leningrad becomes a race against the clock and their own ability to resist.
