About the game
Welcome to the city of sin and easy money! In Lords of Vegas, you step into the shoes of a powerful real estate developer with one goal: dominate the famous Las Vegas Strip. You start with almost nothing — just a few parking lots and big dreams — and must transform them into the most luxurious and profitable casinos in town. But don't think it's just about building and relaxing; the game is a constant battle for space and influence.

Here's how it works: you pay to claim lots on the board, placing a die and a color tile. If you place tiles of the same color side-by-side, you've just created a casino! But here's the twist: owning the land doesn't mean you're in charge. The 'Boss' of the casino is the player who placed the highest die value. This creates a delicious tension where you might own most of the building, but another player is calling the shots because they rolled a higher number.

Each round, cards reveal new lots and colors that generate money and victory points. While money is used to expand your empire and gamble in other players' casinos, victory points are what actually determine the winner. And since we're in Vegas, negotiation is the heart of the game. You can trade lots, sell casinos, or make shady deals with your rivals to take down the leader. It's a game of risk, where you can attempt a hostile takeover of a neighbor's empire or bet big to make a comeback. If you love economic games with heavy interaction, betrayal, and the adrenaline of rolling dice, Lords of Vegas is your game. Open your wallet, call your friends, and try not to go bankrupt before the end!

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the game too complex?
It has a medium weight (2.34). The basic rules are straightforward, but the negotiation strategy and money management require focus.
How long does a game last?
Usually between 60 and 90 minutes, but if the group loves to negotiate and debate every trade, it might take longer!
Does it work well with 2 players?
Yes, but the game's real shine is with 3 or 4 players, where negotiation and territory battles become much more intense.
Do the dice rolls decide everything?
Dice bring the typical Vegas randomness, but the strategy of where to build and how to negotiate balances out the luck.
Who would you recommend this game to?
People who enjoy games like Monopoly but want something with more depth, more strategy, and much higher social interaction.
