About the game

What you do in a play session

Malifaux is a miniature strategy game blending horror and steampunk into a tactical brawl full of personality. Each player assembles a squad of 5-7 miniatures from a faction — including a powerful Master and their followers. The big twist? No dice here: every clash is resolved with a card deck, where you manage your hand to boost success chances. The turn system is dynamic, alternating activations between miniatures, creating a strategic ballet of moves and strikes. Get ready for a visually stunning game (the miniatures are art pieces), but one that requires translation if your group isn't fluent in English — cards are text-heavy.
