About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready for an interplanetary invasion with *Martian Fluxx*, the Martian-themed version of the famous card game where the rules never stop changing! Inspired by classic alien invasion stories like 'The War of the Worlds,' this game puts you in the shoes of the Martian invaders themselves, with a hilarious and strategic twist. Forget humans as heroes; here, they are the 'Pathetic Humans,' mere obstacles in your path to Martian victory.

In *Martian Fluxx*, you'll find thematic Keepers like Mars, the Mothership, the Flying Saucer, the Tripod, and even the Cow (yes, for Martians and humans alike, it's a great meal!). But what about the Tentacle? Ah, it's an excellent Keeper if you're a Martian, and that's exactly what you are in this game! Other cool Keepers include the Abduction Chamber (great for 'hiding' those Pathetic Humans), the Space Modulator, and the Mind-Control Transmitter. And yes, your Ray Gun is ready to vaporize any obstructing humans. Be careful, though, with the Germs Creeper, which is much harder to get rid of!

The big draw of *Martian Fluxx* is that by putting you in the role of the aliens, you get access to all the 'cool stuff' of the invasion. With the constantly shifting rule dynamic characteristic of the Fluxx series, each game is a surprise, requiring adaptation and laughs with every new rule or objective. If you're a fan of science fiction, humor, and unpredictable card games, this edition is a blast!
