Mega Man Pixel Tactics: Bass Orange is an expanded edition of the already popular Pixel Tactics, adding 28 new characters to the card duel. Each player starts with an identical 25‑card deck and selects a leader, whose ability completely changes how the other cards play, creating 25 distinct strategic paths. On the battlefield you place cards in the front rows to attack or in the back rows to support, and you can also play order cards that have single‑use effects capable of turning the tide. The game ends when one leader is defeated, and it’s usually played best‑of‑three or best‑of‑five rounds, with each game lasting between 20 and 45 minutes. The Bass Orange edition includes two copies of all unlocked stretch goals from the Kickstarter campaign, including the social goals, which increases the variety of characters and possible strategies. The game is designed for two players, has a medium complexity level, requires some language support (moderate dependency), and can be played with translated cards and sheets. If you love a tactical duel with pixel art style and want to dive into the Mega Man universe, this expansion will surprise you.
