About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready for an epic invasion of Tokyo, but not in the way you imagine! Mindbug: King of Tokyo brings the essence of the acclaimed Mindbug card game and blends it with the giant monster universe of King of Tokyo, resulting in a two-player card battler full of twists and strategic decisions. Here, you'll control powerful creatures, straight from the King of Tokyo pantheon, but with a special twist: the 'Mindbug' mechanic.

The big catch is that when you summon a monster, your opponent has a chance to 'steal' it and use it against you! This dynamic creates a super interesting game of bluffing and reading opponents, where every play can become a backfire or a masterstroke. Additionally, the game introduces special dice that, when rolled, activate insane attack effects, adding a layer of controlled randomness and moments of pure excitement. You'll also be able to spend energy to acquire unique Power cards, capable of completely changing the course of the game.

Mindbug: King of Tokyo can be played as a standalone game, perfect for quick and intense duels, or you can combine it with other Mindbug sets to further expand your options and create even more complex and varied battles. If you like the idea of giant monsters clashing with a touch of strategy and bluffing, this game is the perfect choice to test your mind and your luck!
