About the game
Get ready to mine, build, and explore in the world of Minecraft: Builders & Biomes! Inspired by the famous video game, this board game invites you to relive the experience of gathering resources, erecting structures, and mastering biomes. Each turn, you'll use your action points to move around the board, collect resource cubes (wood, stone, etc.), and place them on your player board to build. But beware! Monsters like Creepers and Endermen lurk, and defeating them can earn you extra points and bonuses. The game features a layering mechanic with the resource cubes: when the third layer runs out, the game ends. Scoring happens at three crucial moments, focusing on different aspects: first, the largest connected biome on your board; then, structures made of a specific material; and finally, the type of structure you've built the most. At the end, there's still bonus scoring for defeated monsters. With variable setup, each game offers a new challenge, ensuring the fun of building your own piece of the Overworld never ends. It's a great pick for fans of the original game and for those who enjoy tile-placement games with a strategic twist.
