About the game
What you do in a play session
Monolyth is an abstract strategy game where each player builds their own block of stones using 3D polyominoes. The goal is to create specific color patterns, complete levels, and follow a structure that matches a randomly chosen card. The game starts with selecting a structure card and placing level, structure, and prophecy tokens on the main board. Players move a crystal marker in a circle to choose polyominoes, which are then placed on their 4x4 boards. Alternatively, they can swap the polyomino for a 1x1 block of the same color. Additionally, players can collect prophecy tokens to earn extra points if they meet certain conditions. The game ends when a player completes their 3D monolith, and the final score is determined by the sum of structure, level, and prophecy tokens. Monolyth is a mental challenge that combines strategic planning and spatial skills.
