About the game

What you do in a play session

In Monstrosity, The Card Game, you're a contestant at MONCON, a fictional monster-building conference, where the goal is simple yet challenging: create the most spectacular creature! Forget Dr. Frankenstein; here, it's all about DIY. The idea is to collect body parts, assemble a unique monster, and, of course, find the perfect power source to bring it to life. At the start of the game, each player chooses a unique heart card, which not only defines their strategy but also imposes specific requirements for their monster's assembly. This initial choice is crucial, as it shapes your entire building plan. Throughout the game, participants take turns performing a series of dynamic actions. You'll be busy assembling new parts, upgrading existing ones, and, of course, giving your opponents a 'helping hand' with sabotage cards and other action cards that promise to turn the game upside down. The grand winner will be the one who successfully reanimates their monster and accumulates the most points. And the icing on the cake? Monstrosity can be played in both a competitive 'free-for-all' mode and exciting 2-on-2 team battles. Get ready for plenty of creativity and a bit of chaos!
