About the game
Imagine a classic cat-and-mouse chase, but in a pocket-sized version with all the tension of Victorian London. Mr. Jack Pocket is the compact spin-off of Mr. Jack, turning the hunt for the infamous killer into a fast-paced, cerebral duel for two players. Instead of a static board, the game uses nine street cards to form a dynamic grid where streets can rotate or swap positions, keeping the hunter constantly on their toes.

On one side, you have the detective, controlling Holmes, Watson, and a tracking dog. The goal is straightforward but challenging: corner and identify the true Mr. Jack. On the other side, the killer tries to blend in with other suspects and escape unnoticed. The action system is the heart of the game: every round, four actions are available. The first player picks one, the opponent takes two, and the first player uses the remaining one. This creates a constant tug-of-war over priorities: do you move your detectives to 'look' at the streets, rotate cards to change the view, or swap street cards to confuse your opponent?

The climax happens at the end of each round, when Mr. Jack must state whether he is visible to any of the detectives. This is where the deduction kicks in: if you know where the detectives are and Jack says he isn't seen, you start crossing suspects off the list. It's a game of pure logic, bluffing, and map control. If the detective fails to point the finger at the culprit in time, the killer escapes and wins. It's the perfect dose of mystery for those who want a quick yet intense challenge without needing a massive table.
